Two scores after every match
Your child reflects on how they played, and there’s a parent score for what happened on the touchline: encouragement, body language, respect. Seeing both side by side turns the post-match chat into a better conversation.

The app that brings parents into the journey
Let them grow. & be their best.
Grassroots football should be fun, not pressure. 5StarKidz gives parents and kids a structured, supportive way to track progress and celebrate every achievement.
- Positive parent feedbackScore and reflect on your own touchline behaviour.
- Better conversationsTalk about what went well on the drive home.
- Stronger connectionsShare the journey, game by game.
“I used to be that shouting parent, I can honestly admit that.”
A negative impact on a child’s brain can affect them in the next game and the next game and affect their journey, but if you keep it positive, utilising an app like this, which in my opinion is fantastic. It’s just a great way of keeping their confidence up.

What is 5StarKidz?
A football journal for young grassroots players and their parents. Log every match, rate your own performance, unlock awards and watch progress build season on season, with a friendly AI coach on hand to help.
Is there a free version?
Yes. 5StarKidz is free to download and use for 5v5 football with one child profile. Premium unlocks everything for £2.99 a month after a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime in your App Store or Play Store settings.
Can it be used for all ages and skill levels?
Yes. The app grows with your child: 5v5 players rate 5 attributes, 7v7 players rate 12 and 9v9 players rate 20, for outfield players and goalkeepers alike. 5v5 is free; 7v7 and 9v9 are part of Premium.
How does the star rating work?
After each game your child gives themselves up to five stars for each attribute, and a parent can add their own score. Those ratings power the overall score, trend charts and the areas to focus on next.
Who is The GOAT?
The GOAT is the AI coach built into the app. It reads the scores and match results you log and gives positive, personalised feedback. Free accounts can ask 3 questions a week; Premium adds unlimited chat, AI match reports and two-week training plans.
Can coaches use it for their whole team?
Yes. The 5StarKidz Coach app lets coaches manage their squad, keep private notes and send announcements from £4.99 a month. Coach Pro adds team challenges that appear in every player’s app, AI training plans and sponsorship pages.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone and Android phones. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
